Yerseke
With Yerseke as a base you can enjoy a whole holiday in Zeeland. A beautiful fishing village with the only mussel auction in the world. For families with children there is a wonderfully clear beach, the so-called ‘Damse beach’, where you can dip your toes and build a sand castle. By gradually sloping down the waterline, you can let your child play carefree.
Take a boat trip with the boat ‘De Marsstrand’ or ‘OesterBaron’ on the Oosterschelde and see where the bottom culture Mussels and Oysters are given time to grow. Or experience what it is like to eat mussels and other seafood on a dry sandbank plate!
